Realizing the Potential of Large Bathrooms

There are plenty of tips for redesigning a small bathroom, but what if the area is huge? While some things are the same no matter what the room size, a large area leaves room for plenty of luxuries. Here are some things that are good to add when considering bath design in Sioux Falls for big bathrooms:

Put in Extra Sinks

Double or even triple sinks are popular additions to bathrooms these days, and the reason for this is simple: They let multiple people get ready at the same time in the morning. Make sure to add a big mirror that runs along the entire length of the counter when making this upgrade. Multiple sinks are only good if everyone can see what they're doing after using them. Another important thing to do is ensure that there is plenty of counter space around each sink so that each person can put his or her supplies right there.

Add a Heated Towel Rack

Most of these take up too much space to put them in a small bathroom, but in a large one, they'll seem relatively small. A warm towel after a shower is a wonderful luxury and will be perfectly fitting in this environment.

Separate the Tub and Shower

Combined tubs and showers are great for small and medium-sized bathrooms, but in a large one, there's space to spread everything out. Install a big shower so there's no need to bend awkwardly to get water on those hard-to-reach parts. Then put in a separate, large bathtub so soaking is as luxurious as it seems in the soap ads.

Put in Plenty of Cabinets and Closets

There's no need to have a million things on the counter when there are better places to put them. Keep the room tidy and organized with lots of storage space. This will also help ensure that the room looks as big as it is – clutter makes things look crowded.

Leave a Large Amount of Empty Floor Space

This will make the bathroom seem even bigger and more luxurious. Even the biggest rooms seem tiny if they're jammed full of things, whether or not those things would normally be called clutter. Try to avoid filling up the room with toilet paper holders, magazine racks, and other items.

With these tips, the interior design of Sioux Falls bathrooms can live up to its full potential. Incorporate as many as possible for top-notch results.
